I was incredibly fortunate, during a difficult time in our British Hospitals, to be recommended and welcomed into the fantastic care of Professor Khalaf for my recent IVF journey. Aside from the fact that his manner and interest in the individual patient are top class, I also find that he will go above and beyond to ensure maximum confidence and minimum anxiety exudes those in his care. Mr Khalaf has seen me through to a successful pregnancy but he is quite the opposite to arrogant about it and continues this wonderful, warm care in checking my early pregnancy is maintaining before I join maternity services. I honestly thought no one could exceed the brilliance of my previous consultant and I am so very lucky to have found an equally fantastic doctor. I absolutely recommend him and his fantastic team.

My husband and I came to Mr Khalaf having suffered a very bad experience with a commercial clinic and desperately seeking a Consultant whom we felt safe with and that we could trust. From the moment we met him, Mr Khalaf has been a rock of comfort and support. He not only has exceptional expertises but a truly compassionate, kind and gentle nature. He is deeply understanding of the pressures and difficult choices that are involved in treatment and has always advocated the most sensible and safest approaches. We feel truly blessed to have found a Consultant who has held our hand through both moments of joy and of terrible heartbreak, whose care and dedication goes far beyond any person I have ever met. He has given us hope when we have been hopeless, he has rebuilt our trust when it had been destroyed and is truly a gifted gentleman for whom the work is a calling and not a job. We feel truly privileged and honoured to have him as our doctor.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Khalaf. He is professional and honest and displays great integrity, as required from a person in his position, but he is also kind, gentle, considerate, generous, compassionate and funny. He has had to give me bad news as well as fabulous news in my time as his patient but I have never felt hopeless. Most of all, however, he shows tremendous humility despite all the great things he has done for many, many grateful parents. He is a real gem, a wonderful human being and in my opinion the best doctor in the world!

I went through a few appointments at different NHS hospitals for second opinions and as soon as I met Professor Khalaf I knew I was in good hands with his experience and great kind manner. I was previously told I had to have injections that would put me into temporary menopause to shrink my large fibroid but I didn’t have to have this and could go straight to surgery. I was quite nervous before the op but the surgery went smoothly and my scar is healing well. Thank you - you helped me resolve a really distressing situation with ease and I now feel so much better.
